Project Description

We led a group of bear experts from around North America and representatives from the Bear Smart Society through a day-long workshop to prioritize a list of  concrete short and long term initiatives for minimizing human bear conflict in Whistler. From the initiatives identified, five strategies became clear and a framework for future planning was delivered.
