Governance Training Workshop

We delivered a customized governance training session for the board of Stewardship Pemberton, focused on strengthening organizational leadership and board effectiveness. The workshop covered key topics including governance principles and models, board responsibilities and fiduciary duties, committee structures, and effective board practices. Participants explored the distinction between operational and strategic governance, assessed their current board model, and discussed ways to enhance organizational capacity through committees. The session also addressed board composition, orientation, evaluation, and techniques for improving meeting efficiency and board-management interactions. Designed to be interactive and practical, the training supported board members in clarifying roles, improving decision-making, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
