Project Description

The Centre worked with the project team on the development of the Master Plan for the new South Britannia Beach Neighbourhood. Our work focused on integrating sustainability and aligning the Master Plan with the SLRD’s integrated sustainability plan goals, as well as on engaging the Corridor community to get their input into the Plan. The proposed Master Plan conforms with the SLRD’s Regional Growth Strategy, and the new neighbourhood will be developed mostly on previously developed land, including a former gravel pit. Currently, the SLRD is reviewing the Master Plan proposal.
