Green Municipal Fund Research and Learning Journeys

To support Green Municipal Fund’s (GMF) core sectors (energy, transportation, waste, water, and land use) WCS Engagement and Planning was contracted to research and develop content for cohesive “learning journey“ materials on circular procurement, integrated planning, and electrification of municipal fleets for local governments. Our team was composed of a mix of researchers and practitioners from across Canada. The learning journeys included:

1. A database of information resources on each topic
2. A catalogue of municipal case studies and list of candidates for future case studies
3. A circular procurement policy template and guide
4. A factsheet on financing EV fleets
