Whistler Blackcomb Community Roundtable

Whistler Blackcomb / Vail Resorts wished to engage with the community organizations in the Sea to Sky Corridor to:

1. Strengthen the relationship with community partners
2. Confirm and discuss the community’s top complex and systemic challenges
3. Discuss collaborative approaches needed to address those challenges
4. Share ideas on how Whistler Blackcomb Resorts can play a role in leading a collaborative strategy

WCS Engagement + Planning was asked to design and facilitate a compelling roundtable discussion process. Through a combination of research and presentation on top regional issues, and captivating world café style conversations, the group of 80 participants addressed topics ranging from housing to health to reconciliation. Participants enjoyed the opportunity to talk to each other and felt that Whistler Blackcomb representatives heard their ideas for collaboration.
